Southern California Koi Rescue is a registered non-profit animal rescue specializing in large Japanese koi fish and other pond pets. Since 2008 we have completed hundreds of onsite koi rescues throughout CA, NV, and AZ while successfully finding new forever homes for literally thousands of precious living jewels that would have otherwise been discarded. All koi complete a comprehensive quarantine process lasting several weeks before being made available for rehoming. For peace of minde, we often provide photos and videos of rescued koi back to their former owners once they arrive in quarantine so they will know their precious wet pets arrived safe and sound. As private hobbyists ourselves, we have a deep passion for koi keeping and the majestic creatures entrusted to our care. These beautiful living jewels have brought a lot of joy into our lives, and this is why we do what we do.
